Tax considerations when moving to the UK

Are you thinking of relocating to the United Kingdom? If so, you need to consider the tax implications – both in the UK and in South Africa.

Rupert Clarey and Jaco van Zyl will present a summary of the preferential UK tax regime which applies when you arrive in the UK. They will give first-hand insights into strategies to take full advantage of the regime and will point out some of the most common errors and pitfalls.

They will also highlight the South African tax consequences when leaving the country and how to mitigate any tax charges. They will cover financial immigration for exchange control purposes, in a way that compliments arrival in the UK.
