Richard Hill
Partner - Direct Investments
Richard is responsible for delivering the Private Markets Advisory proposition for the Stonehage Fleming Group. Based in London and with over 25 years’ private markets experience, Richard has led the development of the Stonehage Fleming Private Markets Advisory platform.
Before joining Stonehage Fleming in 2002, Richard developed his Mergers & Acquisitions and Investment Banking experience at PwC, Robert Fleming and JP Morgan. Prior to that he qualified as a Chartered Accountant with PwC.
Richard has advised many companies across multiple sectors and has developed a focus on advising and working with founder-led businesses. Richard has led numerous direct investments, co-investments and corporate advisory transactions in the financial services, software, entertainment, real estate, natural resources, energy transition, and business services sectors on behalf of SF clients.
Richard holds an MA in Accounting & Financial Management from the University of Essex.
